Risk reduction for:
Elderly or high risk family member
contracting Covid-19

  1. Older Adults are at Higher Risk: 8 out of 10 deaths have been adults 65 years and older
  2. Limit contact with others; especially those who are sick
  3. Wash your hands often — for a least 20 seconds
  4. Use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available
  5. Don’t touch your face
  6. Grocery shopping no more than once a week (wear mask)
  7. Physical distancing — keep space between yourself and others
  8. Grocery store delivery service e.g. Instacart, Walmart delivery
  9. Remove clothing and shower immediately upon arrival at home from grocery shopping
  10. Develop a Care Plan before you get sick
  11. Ask your health care provider about extra medications to have on hand
