Why every important decision is subjective

In our book Decision by Objectives — How to Convince Others You are Right, Mary Ann Selly and I explain why all important decisions should be based on the achievement of objectives. In fact, we define a rational decision as a decision based on the achievement of objectives.

Every important decision has multiple objectives, for example time and money. Furthermore, the relative importance of the objectives is subjective! Therefore every important decision is subjective.
